Children of alcohol-and drug-addicted parents or guardians are profoundly affected by living with this experience.
The show will examine intergenerational vulnerability and the risks involved for alcohol and other substance use disorders by the sons and daughters of addiction-prone homes. Family patterns, denial, and the elements for reaching recovery will be discussed as well as current trends in family interventions and programs.
